A wood-fired barrel sauna sitting right on the sand at Caherdaniel, with the Atlantic a few steps away and a view over the cove that visitors keep calling stunning. Sessions run an hour and are never rushed. James, who runs it, is full of local history and looks after people properly, which is why so many say they'll be back next time they're in Kerry.

“I loved every minute of this sauna experience. James is a legend and full of local history he even ran me a basin of boiling water when I stepped on a weaver fish and sorted me out big time. The view from this sauna is second to none and he makes a mean acai bowl also. I just wish this place was on my side of the Country ❤️❤️❤️”

“Gorgeous location 😍 such a great beach with fine sand and crystal clear water. The sauna was very clean and well maintained. The owner was super sound and friendly, he let us stay in a few extra minutes before the next group arrived. Bottles of water provided was a nice touch and the view is magic 😍 😍 Highly recommend ❤️”

“I absolutely loved my visit to this beach sauna. There’s something so special about sitting in the warmth of the sauna and then stepping straight into the sea. Everything was spotlessly clean and well looked after, and the whole place had such a calm, welcoming atmosphere. You can tell a lot of care has gone into creating such a chill experience. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape by the sea. Huge thanks to James for adding this wonderful facility to the area.”

“Nicest Sauna around right on the sandy beach, perfect to run into the water take a dip before heading back in! Sauna temperature was excellent, extremely clean! James is a gent, the whole experience is not rushed and the vibe is excellent! To top it off a fresh açai bowl with the best coffee!”
