About this sauna

Cipín brought a wood-fired sauna to Inis Mór, and the views alone would be reason enough to go. Sit and listen to the stove crackling, throw a little lemon-scented water on the stones, then step out to the plunge pool. Fionn looks after everyone properly, and islanders have taken to going weekly since it opened.

Just a gorgeous way to spend an hour on a wild and rainy evening on Inis Mór. Changing area was ideal and so thoughtfully done. This rivals any sauna that I’ve been to on the mainland

What a way to wind down after long travels! Listening to the wood crackling in the stove, occasionally tossing some lemon oil scented water on the hot rocks, looking out toward the Connemara mountains, and alternating between the sauna and the icy plunge pool - that’s the life! So relaxing and refreshing.

Great experience. Fionn the owner was an absolute gent very accommodating. Sauna and plunge pool very well set up with lovely views. Be sure to grab a bite to eat and coffee in Minnie’s cafe after wards.

Had a fantastic experience at Cipín Saunas. Wonderfully set up with changing rooms, cold plunge, shower and wood fired stove. The sauna is very clean, well presented, incredible views. We were able to stay over time which was an extra treat. Very attentive and welcoming host. Yummy coffee and treats available for after. Would definitely recommend this experience when visiting Inis Mór.
