A wood-fired barrel sauna tucked just off the sand at Banna, with what regulars insist is the best view on one of Kerry's best beaches. Go at high tide and the dip is a few steps away. It's impeccably clean and easy to book, and for a good number of locals it has quietly become the fixed point of the week.

“Absolutely loved our visit today to Happy Days Sauna on Banna. Easy to book and great cause. Very clean and in perfect location to run int the sea for dips in between. A warm and friendly greeting awaits you, only there at weekends. Look forward to visiting again.”

“My first time at the sauna last weekend and absolutely loved it. Went at high tide and lovely to be able to dip into the sea in between. Lovely sense of community here too. Very disappointed to hear the sauna may not be able to operate during the winter months , as this is the time of year people would really benefit from such an amenity”

“I’d be lost without happy days sauna. It’s part of my weekly routine! It gets me out and ready for the day such a lovely way to socialise especially now the colder weather is coming more reason to enjoy a HOT sauna ☺️ Darren and the team are all so welcoming and up for the chats! Never seen banna beach busier and so many people in the water 🌊 To top it off it’s a massive way to improve mental health so many benefits !!”
