“Really bad almost rude customer service. I note this seems to be a recurring comment from earlier reviews so wonder why still an issue 🤔”

“Lovely spot with nice staff and lots to offer. Negative stars for use of “AI” generated imagery for things like their menus. Pointless and looks stupid. We know what a generic burger looks like.”

“Store and Yard Sandycove has a really lovely atmosphere and the food was genuinely very good. The staff were also all very friendly and polite, which is why I don’t want this review to come across as blaming any individual person working there. The main issue during my visit was the speed of service, but honestly it felt more like a staffing issue than anything else. When I was there during the lunch rush, there only seemed to be one person on the till and one person working in the kitchen, which is probably why things were moving very slowly. There was a queue building and at one point there was quite a long conversation happening at the till while people were waiting, which made things even slower, but the staff member was still lovely and friendly throughout. There was also painting work happening while people were sitting and eating, which felt a little strange during such a busy period, especially with the smell of paint noticeable inside. Overall though, the food was really nice, the atmosphere is great and the staff were lovely. I just think the place could really benefit from having more staff on during busy lunch periods because it would make a huge difference to the overall experience.”

“Worst burgers I’ve eaten. Ordered a veggie one and chicken one. I was initially served 2 slices of bread with chicken, no cheese, no salad no tomato. 9.45 euros for bread and chicken ! Even in McDonalds you get salad and tomatoes ! Had to ask them to redo my burger and apparently the cook told me it wasn’t the first time people complained about them. Yet nothing is done to change that. Fries were overcooked. Clearly no effort presentation wise for the burgers and they didn’t look anything like the picture.”
