About this sauna
Tucked off the Tramore Road at Halfway House, Sauna Social is far prettier and quieter than it looks from the road. The wood-fired sauna and a choice of cold baths sit in a warmly lit garden of pergolas and soft string lights, with a hot tub alongside. Visitors describe it as tranquil and spotless, and the welcome from the lads running it is a big part of why people come back.

“Sauna Social is the perfect way to kill an hour by yourself, spend time with friends or give yourself a little bit of a treat from daily life. The space is tranquil and has a lovely vibe without being pretentious. Between the sauna, cold shower, plunge baths and hot tub there is a lovely flow. It was at full capacity during my visit, but didn’t feel like it at all. Great mix of ages too, which is brilliant to see. Fantastic music, friendly staff and spotless facilities that are finished to a high standard. Can’t wait for my next visit. Highly recommend.”
