Sweathouse's Rinvyle sauna sits on a small, remote harbour on the Galway coast, with air- or water-cooling between rounds and water as low as 11°C in winter. It's an idyllic, laid-back setting, with a proper changing area, that makes for a memorable dip whatever the weather's doing.

“Happened upon Chris and his Sweat House at Clifden Eco Camping. So friendly! Really spacious, hot hot sauna right next to the beach. Fabulous view of the sun going down over the sea. 1 minute to the beach to cool off. Brilliant!”

“We had an amazing experience at the Sweathouse sauna. We were lucky enough to book in for a special storytelling session, where we were regaled with stories of the Fianna. The lads running the sauna are very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!”

“We had a brilliant experience at this sauna. As someone who doesn't enjoy cold water swimming, the sauna made having a sea dip on a chilly February day very enjoyable indeed! The location is remote and so idyllic. There was only a small handful of people on the beach and we're joined by a few locals in the sauna, everyone was incredibly friendly. Would highly recommend this super unique experience :)”

“Loved this, it was cold and wet, typical,l Irish Weather but warm and toasty in the Sauna. There's a real laid back vibe here and it filters through as part of the experience. Particularly appreciated the changing area which just made the usual getting dressed in the rain a whole lot easier. Thanks for a great, reasonable priced experience.”
