The Sauna Village is an open-air retreat tucked into North Dublin, and visitors keep describing it as a hidden sanctuary. There's a spread of saunas, each with its own character, plus a hot tub and several cold plunges to move between. The small touches get noticed too, like the baskets of extras in the changing rooms.

“Amazing sauna. Lots of saunas and great hot tub and cold plunges. Just a few suggestions to make it even better. 2 of the saunas nearest the cold plunge and hot tub are out of order for the second time that I've been there in a few months. These would be really good to have open especially as they look like the nicest saunas internally. One has a rooflight which I've never seen in a sauna. It would be great to have some egg timers on the walls in the saunas just so you can keep track as there's a clock near the hot tub but not on the other end nearest the metal cold basins. Overall a great sauna just a few minor improvements could make it beyond excellent”

“First time to visit today. Its a great set up and nice fresh water for a plunge. Changing rooms are great love the added extras in the baskets, its the little touches that make the experience even nicer. Staff are great also and very friendly. Left in peace to enjoy your sauna even went over time which I was shocked about as in other places have a 5 min warning in place. Were as the staff want to you have the best reset without upset, leave when your ready which I love 🥰 can't thank Mark enough for my experience this morning. See yous soon”

“Brilliant set up and excellent customer service. We were unsure of our timings as we were en route up to the north...and a DM to the guys got an instant reply, telling us that there was availability and just "walk in" so that we didn't have time restraints hanging over us on the drive up. The facilities are fabulous. Hot hot saunas and cold cold plunge. Highly recommend 💪❤️🥶🥵”

“I had a great experience at Sauna Village Swords. The staff were very welcoming. They gave us a tour around and explained all the different types of saunas. A very calm, relaxing and unrushed experience. Changing rooms were spotless. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend to everyone.”

“Just okay... The sauna's are of a warm temperature so no complaints there but the whole experience surrounding the sauna's felt a bit lacklustre in comparison to other offerings at similar prices. Major Cons: 1) The place still feels 'under construction' and there really should be a warning sign on the decking between the cold bath and hot tub as a friend fell through the deck! (Thankfully he wasn't injured). 2) The changing room floors were dirty and wet. They could have done with either a more regular clean or plastic mats to avoid the worst. 4) The saunas should be set at different levels of heat and labelled as such. 5) You aren't allowed use shampoo or soap in the outdoor showers provided. 6) The hot tub water didn't appear clean which was off-putting. Minor cons: 1) Off-peak times rarely seem available. 2) No tap to fill your water bottle. 3) Harder to fix due to the location but the background noise of the nearby cars, jump zone and funfair (at the time I was there) wasn't ”
