About this sauna

A proper standalone sauna building in Kinvara rather than a corner of a gym, Reale Burren is built for private sessions: smooth red cedar benches, your own music through the speakers, a mini fridge and a plunge pool a few steps away. The view out of the sauna does the rest, and walkers coming off the Burren rate it highly after a long day on their feet.

Amazing experience. So clean. Great hospitality. Fantastic view. Great to be able to book for a private session. Can enjoy your own music through the speakers, grab a drink from the mini fridge, have a hot or cold shower, and the cold plunge is deadly. Best sauna experience🔥

We had such a wonderful experience here today. The facilities are incredibly clean and well kept. Damien was a pleasure to deal with. The views looking out of the sauna were super relaxing and the option to play your own music on the built in speakers was a fantastic touch. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you!

This sauna is by far the best I have tried in Ireland. The design and attention to detail are exceptional, with very fine craftsmanship throughout. The comfort, the absolutely amazing shower, the very comfortable plunge pool, the ambience, and the option to connect your own music to the speakers, along with the stunning view of the Burren mountains, all make it a special experience. The hospitality of Damien and Ivana is wonderful, and everything is kept spotlessly clean. It has become part of my weekly routine, supporting both my body and soul. Thank you so much for this beautiful addition to the Kinvara and West Ireland community.

It was absolutely amazing! We had the sauna for the two of us and it was sparkling clean, comfortable and all the facilities like shower, toilet, and the plunge pool which is a good relief when you step out of the sauna. The owners are friendly and attentive. Totally recommend this experience!

Incredible experience! Super easy to book, arrive and relax! We happened upon a sign on the road and spontaneously decided to go and are SO glad we did. Felt so relaxed and refreshed after our session. Love that there's speakers too so you can play your own music. 10/10 recommend going!!

I recently hurt my neck (a bulging disc), having a sauna in Kinvara is a god send and what a setup too! This is far better than using a sauna at a gym or hotel because it is standalone. It also is an actual building at the back of a house, not a mobile sauna or cabin type setup. You can book a private session for yourself or even up to a group of 4 so you have the run of the place for yourself for the hour. You can hop in a shower before heading into the sauna then within a few feet of the sauna is the cold plunge. When I arrive it tends to be a dry heat but they keep water in the sauna which you can pour onto the stones. There is a restroom within the sauna building and they have a mini-fridge with drinks that you can optionally buy for €2. They have an amplifier and speakers setup so you can scan a QR code by the door which connects you to Wi-Fi then you can open up Spotify or whatever you use and select the amplifier to listen to music or podcasts which helps the time pass which is
