The Goat House looks out over rolling Laois fields and, yes, actual goats. The wood-fired sauna runs properly hot and the changing rooms are spotless, but it's the cosy barn with its coffee, tea and little bar area that makes people linger afterwards. They think of details most places wouldn't, and the baby goats are not the least of them.

“What a gorgeous place. Peaceful surroundings, and spotlessly clean and tidy. The sauna was very hot, and the goats were great entertainment to watch through the big window. The cold plunge was VERY cold. Ideal! And if you don't like a super cold plunge there was a "cool" option as well. Tea/coffee facilities there also, and the lovely dog Harley who was looking for pets. Will definitely return!”

“10/10. An extremely enjoyable, relaxing evening spent at the GOAT House Sauna. Whole set up is pristine, in a fabulous country setting. The Pigmy Goats provided lots of entertainment whilst looking out of the Sauna. Love the catchy names of the changing rooms too. Lots of personal added touches, such as iced water, fresh fruit slices and the added unexpected bonus of complimentary tea/coffee & homemade sweet teats in the immaculate Barn with seating area. Lisa & Dale were so welcoming, friendly and a lovely couple. Hugely recommend.”

“Fantastic sauna experience. The goat house think of things you would not even consider for your trip. We have been to many saunas throughout Ireland and this is by far the best experience. The goats are also adorable. 10/10 (would be 11/10 if we could bring a goat home).”

“Booked a private session with my friends and from start to finish it was absolutely brilliant. The attention to detail is like none other and really makes it brilliant value for money! The goats are so entertaining to watch and the lovely dog brought such a great energy. It’s so lovely to see a passion project brought to life and to such a high standard! Cannot recommend it enough! Can’t wait to go back!”

“This was truly a great experience. The standards of this place are of the highest. Such welcoming owners, really well decorated and the facilities were absolutely spotless. The goats are really friendly too. It was a great experience and somewhere I'd frequently be going to from now on. Hopefully a jacuzzi is added at some stage.”
