About this sauna
Robert and Barbara have built something genuinely special in the middle of Kilkenny city: powerful saunas, proper cold plunges and a hot tub, all kept spotless and surprisingly calm for somewhere so central. Sessions run a generous 75 minutes, long enough to stop watching the clock and settle into the rhythm of hot, cold, rest, repeat.

“Fantastic sauna and facilities. Two saunas to choose from including one that gets up to 120 degrees. 3 cooled ice baths and a fantastic jacuzzi. The place is immaculate and always has a great vibe. Would definitely recommend.”

Having been to other similar saunas at similar price ranges throughout the country, Kilkenny Grand Sauna truly is in rarified air, even at a national level. Both saunas, the ice bath, the changing facilities and the hot tub are always exceptionally clean. The aforementioned dream team are always friendly and helpful to a fault. Having spent many evenings during my time in Kilkenny in their company , I wish them nothing but every success going forward. With their remarkable facility and clear hard work, I foresee nothing but the same for them. I would highly encourage anyone to visit Kilkenny Grand Sauna if possible for them. “First time at Kilkenny Grand Sauna this morning at my friend and I absolutely loved it! Robert was so warm and welcoming, the main sauna is just gorgeous and hot! 🔥 There are ice baths, a lovely jacuzzi, changing rooms, lockers, loos but most of all a lovely chilled vibe! The 75 minutes is fab, gives plenty of time to do a few rounds of everything at a leisurely pace. The perfect start to a lazy Sunday. Could not recommend highly enough. A1. 💫”
