“A full-on sensory experience. Although there were no changing facilities provided and we had to leave our bags and coats in the rain on a cold spring day, it was worth the cost. Location is incredible. The saunas are only a minute away from the water, meaning you can cool down by taking a quick dip in the Atlantic Ocean! Just be organised, no storage and no shower. You can book a private session allowing you to step outside if it is too hot without disrupting others, ideal if like us you're travelling as a family with children who don't regulate body temperature as well as adults. Altogether, don't expect a luxury wellness experience, but that's not what we came for so we were happy!”

“Booked a private session as a family of 4, this was a great way to unwind and relax. The sea is a stone throw away from the sauna, allowing for a cold plunge. Sauna cabin is great. The fact that there is no changing facilities requires a bit of preparation, but is okay if you are organised. The lad manning the sauna was quite chill, which is cool with me!”

“We had an amazing time in the saunas this week, special thanks to Paul and his team for helping to organise such an unforgettable experience. We tried the saunas in both Keel and Keem, and neither disappointed. The temperature was spot on, nicely hot and toasty. I use saunas regularly, and I can say with confidence that these are some of the best. Nothing compares to stepping out into the Atlantic afterwards. While the ocean may not be as icy as some cold plunges depending on the season, its definitely cold enough and the combination of salt water and the benefit of grounding more than makes up for it. I’ve visited Achill many times, and never leave without a session at Sabhna Saunas, highly recommend.”
