Saunas in Clare

Clare has the surf culture of Lahinch, the cliffs at Doolin and Spanish Point, the limestone of the Burren, and behind all of it the long shore of Lough Derg. It is a county where cold water comes in two kinds, Atlantic and lake, and its saunas make use of both. The coast from Lahinch down to Miltown Malbay has become one of the most reliable stretches in the country for a sauna-and-swim routine, with wood-fired heat a few steps from the sand.
