Saunas in Tipperary

Tipperary is Ireland's largest inland county, spread from the Galtee Mountains to the Suir valley, with Lough Derg making a long western shore. Saunas here are set among farmland, river towns and the lake. They sit on Lough Derg at Luska and Dromineer, and in Thurles, Cashel, Cahir and Clonmel.

Lakeside Sauna at Luska and Ritual Sauna and Coffee at Dromineer harbour are the lake options, with a swim off the shore afterwards. Rock View Sauna at Cashel sits under the Rock, and The Heat Retreat at Cahir and The Hive Sauna at Clonmel follow the Suir. Castle View Sauna at Thurles covers the north. Wood-fired and barrel saunas, cold plunges, showers and changing areas are listed. Tipperary borders eight counties, so almost any route across the south of the country passes a sauna here. Dromineer's harbour is the best-known swimming spot on the Tipperary side of Lough Derg, and Luska is a little way along the same shore towards Nenagh.
